The Herawingert has been one of the most important vineyards in the Rhine River Valley for 1.000 years. At the foot of the great mountain ranges, mineral and powerful Pinot family wines ripen on the expressive slate and limestone soils. The venerable age of the vines brings low yields of characteristic quality.
Selective hand-harvesting, aging in French barriques & tonneaus, careful maceration and selection of individual batches, with the strictest selection criteria for the final composition.
