Pinot Noir yields some of the world’s greatest red wines. In the principality of Liechtenstein it is for centuries the traditional red vine. Stylistically, a combination of freshness and ripeness with an aromatic tough from partially élevage in barrique.
Ried Herawingert is one of the most important vineyards in the Rheintal. A microclimate dominated by the warm wind »Föhn« and cool downdrafts from the mountains along with the limestone- & slate-rich soil traditionally yields fine, mineralic and elegant Pinot family wines.
Selective & rather early harvesting by hand; cooled maceration & fermentation. Partial élevage and maturing in new and used barriques for one year.
Brilliant & robust ruby red, magnificent fruit bouquet with nuances of dark cherries and wild strawberries. Impressive on the palate for persistent freshness with toasty aromas and delicate berry fruit.
